Taper Notes :

What a great concert, Liam's voice wasnt that bad at all which was my main concerning about the show. They played a damn great gig from beginning to end, and since i've seen them all the times they were here, this was their best performance here and they really enjoyed it, since they were quite talkative with the audience, thing they never did here and they seemed to be in a good mood, which is something almost strange for Oasis...

The broadcast. Well, since i wasnt here to check properly as i was at the gig... before i left home, i did some tests finding the right position for the antenna and recording some bits, and it was sounding quite good, a bit of noise in the back from the signal but nothing disturbing, i recorded like 2 hours before the actual show and the quality is excellent, but when the concert starts, the quality degrades, there's something with the cymbals, with the high frequencies, that make it sound hissy. Anyway, i think it is still enjoyable. And i have read various people complaining about the same weird sound of the mix. This gig was also broadcasted by another FM station, called FM100, but i have no information on that one.

Now, the DJ talking. Argentine's radio stations have this bad habit of ruining all the live broadcasts talking over the beginning and the end of almost every song, and playing a banter of the radio station here and there. There's nothing to be done about this obviously, so don't blame me, blame the system! lol.

Remember, you can't burn this to CD, since it is in 48khz. If you want a CD version you have to resample to 44.1khz. You can play this on every media platyer you may have on your PC.

Also, please feel free to remaster if you think you can do something better to this recording through EQ (no noise reduction please).

And to finish, i will be seeding a DVD of some songs i filmed with my digital photocamera, soon. It's not superb but it's good memories.
